Registered Banking Professional (SA) - RBP (SA) This is a 12-month membership This membership is for individuals only The RBP (SA) is awarded to practitioners in the financial services or banking industry who have some experience in the banking environment and would like to gain recognition for their experience. Roles include Junior Manager, Team Leader, Banker with basic lending responsibility, compliance officer, junior specialists. Roles are at a medium level of complexity, medium risk and would be governed by limited decision making. AWARDING CRITERIA: For the Professional Designation to be awarded, professionals must comply with the following minimum requirements: Underlying Registered Qualification or Part Qualification: The applicant needs to have attained an NQF Level 6 qualification or equivalent, including, but not limited to a Diploma. Experiential Learning or Experience: An applicant is required to have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in banking environment. The following documents must be submitted for the evaluation: Curriculum vitae Certified ID Certified copy of qualifications Signed Code of ethical Conduct Designation RPL Statement: This Designation may be awarded through Recognition of Prior Learning. RETAINING CRITERIA: In order to ensure the currency of professional knowledge and to retain the Professional Designation, the professional must comply with the following minimum requirements: Code of Conduct: Members must adhere to the Professional Body Codes of Conduct and Ethics. Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Members are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of relevant, verifiable CPD activities in a reporting cycle.
