Chartered Banking Professional (SA) - CHBP (SA) This is a 12-month membership This membership is for individuals only The CHBP (SA) is awarded to practitioners with extensive experience and operating at a managerial level. Roles include Senior Executives, Company Secretary, Executive specialists. Roles are at an exceedingly high level of complexity, very high risk and would be governed by broad decision making. AWARDING CRITERIA: For the Professional Designation to be awarded, professionals must comply with the following minimum requirements: Underlying Registered Qualification or Part Qualification: An applicant will need to have acquired: Postgraduate Diploma in Banking (or related field), 120 credits at NQF Level 8. Or Any NQF Level 8 qualification or equivalent in financial services or related industries. Experiential Learning or Experience: Five years of relevant experience as aligned to the IOB professional competencies. The following documents must be submitted for the evaluation: Curriculum vitae Certified ID Certified copy of qualifications Signed Code of ethical Conduct Designation RPL Statement: This Designation may be awarded through Recognition of Prior Learning. RETAINING CRITERIA: In order to ensure the currency of professional knowledge and to retain the Professional Designation, the professional must comply with the following minimum requirements: Code of Conduct: Members must adhere to the Professional Body Codes of Conduct and Ethics. Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Members are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of relevant, verifiable CPD activities in a reporting cycle. One relevant hour of CPD will earn the IOBSA member 1 CPD point (minimum of 50 minutes constitutes one hour). Fees: Ensure that the annual membership fee is paid. | R 0 | ||
